Transforming Indigenous Mental Health and Wellbeing Project (2021).  Social and Emotional Wellbeing Gathering 2 Report: 26th-28th October 2021. The University of Western Australia. https://doi.org/10.26182/x3rf-jq03

SUMMARY

Over three days in October 2021, delegates from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peak bodies, community organisations, leaders and experts across Australia came together to discuss social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) at the second gathering in Perth, Western Australia.

The SEWB Gathering 2 provided the opportunity for the group to reflect on the work that has been done, what there is still to do, and listen to and learn from others. The recommendations which were established over the first SEWB Gathering were further developed and built upon during the second Gathering.

The SEWB Gathering 2 was hosted by the Transforming Indigenous Mental Health and Wellbeing Project, the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation , Gayaa Dhuwi Proud Spirit Australia, the Australian Indigenous Psychologists Association, and funded by the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
